Flowstore Systems Ltd empowers manufacturers by optimising workflows, reducing waste, and improving productivity through tailored, modular assembly line and materials-handling solutions. As their business continued to grow and their existing lease neared expiry, Flowstore required a complete relocation into a new building, starting from an empty shell.
To achieve this, Flowstore turned to The Storage Centre, a trusted partner for warehouse and office design, installation, and project delivery.
Flowstore’s new premises required a full internal fit-out, covering both warehouse and office environments. This included:

Complete HVAC, power, lighting, data and security installations
Design and installation of all warehouse storage equipment
Additional space creation through a mezzanine floor
The Storage Centre was tasked with transforming the empty building into a fully functional, operational facility ready for occupation.

The Challenge
The Storage Centre designed a complete end-to-end solution covering office spaces, warehouse storage, and infrastructure.
The Solution
Once approved, the works were delivered over a three-month programme, with daily collaboration between Flowstore and The Storage Centre’s project team.
To ensure compliance with CDM safety regulations and maintain clear communication, a dedicated site manager from The Storage Centre was stationed on-site throughout the project.

Heavy-duty cantilever racking and pallet racking, designed for Flowstore’s large and heavy product range
Jet flow warehouse heating system

Mezzanine floor for increased storage and office capacity
Fire protection measures and powered linked roller shutters
Working closely with Flowstore, The Storage Centre produced a detailed programme and action plan that mapped every stage of the relocation and build. This ensured smooth coordination and avoided disruption to Flowstore’s operations.
