VERTICAL STORAGE RACKING
Vertical Storage Racking: Storage of long items with direct access.
Vertical storage racks are designed to store long hand loaded goods vertically.
A series of interconnected uprights are constructed which are split into segments. Each segment can be split into slots with the use of arms or tubular dividers.
Commonly a base angle is installed to prevent goods from slipping into a pick aisle.
Safety and Operational Considerations
Hand operated only. Weight of goods stored to be limited to hand operation. The height of the goods stored should also be limited to suit manual picking.
Small pick slots are created allowing long awkward items to be stored and picked from.
Adjustable arms / dividers allowing for changes in the slot width.
100% selectivity to all stored goods.
